Cullen have brought out a new one-piece build-in detail for I-Joists into masonry, which provides an air-tight seal at the joist end. The Gripper requires no nails and can accommodate the building in of multiple joists.
The Gripper is multi-compliant, meeting the following regulations:
Part L1A:2006 - makes a major contribution to compliance with air leakage
Part E: compliant with the requirements of Appendix A of the Robust Details Part E Handbook
