A New Generation of Z-Clips

Everyone has their problems with Z-clips! OK, you could say that they get the job done but it's about time somebody modified them to make them more adaptable and user friendly. That's right, you've guessed it Cullen have done it again!!!

The Cullen technical engineers have discovered a method of producing Z-clips that not only support the noggings but also locate and connect flat noggings between the joists. Therefore, Cullen's pioneering technology has the ability to support non-load bearing wall partitions running parallel to the joists.

Another ground breaking feature of Cullen's latest offering to the industry is that it has the capacity to support perimeter noggings without either overlapping or staggering, thus, it is more user-friendly and it WILL speed up installation times.

How have we done this you ask yourself? Cullen's in-house design team have taken the positives from the popular Z-clip and corrected the flaws to produce the superior Universal Z-clip to leave the competition behind. Through designing a z-shaped clip it enables the multifunctional connector to interlock eliminating the problem of overlapping. This means that it is possible to install rapidly without the threat of splitting either timber flanges or LVL.

Additional Advantages Over Conventional Fixing Details:
· Stronger more reliable fixing than skew nailing.
· Accredited safe working load value.
· Assures noggings are installed at the correct level to support the partition.

NB. The hexagonal nail in face of Z-clip does not require to be nailed for either of the fixing options described overleaf. However, it can be used to support noggings on wall perimeters.
