When building loose roofs, the connection between rafters and the ridge beam can represent a challenge
on-site. The lack of a standard solution to fit multiple angle and slope combinations often leads to costly custom designs.
Our latest innovation, the Variable Ridge Connector (VRC), offers a flexible solution for angles between 30° and 90° and slopes between -35° and +45°. Both angle and slope can be easily adjusted on-site and the same connection detail can be used for both hip and valley areas of the roof. The VRC is not width dependent and can accommodate up to 100mm wide members.
The VRC successfully eliminates custom designs and reduces stocks.
