New Appointment at Cullen Building Products

Cullen Building Products, the Glenrothes-based manufacturer of engineered connectors, has appointed Julian Leek as Financial Controller.

Mr Leek, who is a Chartered Accountant, has held a number of senior financial positions in the manufacturing and distributive sectors throughout the UK

Welcoming Mr Leek to the company, Managing Director Mr Doug Cullen said:

" We are delighted that Julian has agreed to join our team at Cullen, where we anticipate that his skills will make a major contribution to Cullen's plans for expansion."

Commenting on his new position, Mr Leek said:

" I have thoroughly enjoyed my first few weeks at this growing and dynamic company. My key task for the immediate future will be to ensure that the company's financial strategy and systems support the developing business in the most efficient and effective way."

Mr Leek, who is 39, is married with two young children. His wife Joanna is a solicitor and comes originally from Fife. Mr Leek is a keen golfer, playing off a 5 handicap and refers to Fife as "golfing Heaven!"
