Cullen April Employee of the Month 2004

In what was a record-breaking month of April for Cullen in terms of turnover, the production team have once again pulled out all the stops to meet growing market demand. Although it has very much been a team effort, Tommy Duffy, stood out through the quality of his work and the extraordinary endeavour he has put in.

However, Tommy's commitment did come into question the day after he received the award and cash prize when he took 2 days off with a "blister on his toe", the blister was not visible to the human eye but was no doubt very sore!!! Hopefully Tommy will use the money wisely and either buy a louder alarm clock for his 6o'clock starts or use it to buy earplugs for when he is practicing his bagpipes. Tommy a keen piper recently came second in a competition for his piping but what he's not so keen to say is that only three entered!

Tommy, who has been with the company for 5 years, has recently been promoted to Brake Press Operator, just reward for a very loyal and hard-working member of the team.
